The Black Sheep Chronicle is a proposed monthly illustrated journal designed for

a farming, rural, and sustainability-focused audience, hosted as a recurring

feature on the Flock Illustration website. The project combines illustration,

photography, and short-form editorial content to communicate current farming

news, seasonal activities, and industry events in an accessible format.

This concept demonstrates learning from the course in expanding illustration

practice beyond image-making into content-led, audience-specific

communication. The illustrated editorial format supports regular engagement,

positions the brand within a professional network, and evidences an

understanding of how illustration can function within publishing and digital

media contexts.

The project also reflects my development in applying a repeatable methodology,

allowing visual consistency while responding to evolving subject matter.
